PUK President Holds Phone Call With Mazloum Abdi

Mazloum Abdi, Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), has welcomed expressions of support from the leadership and supporters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).

In a statement on X, Abdi said he was pleased to receive a phone call from Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the PUK.

“We were pleased to receive a phone call from Bafel Talabani, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), during which he expressed his support for our people’s resistance and our forces,” Abdi said.

He also praised public demonstrations held in Sulaymaniyah in solidarity with the SDF, describing them as a strong show of continued support.

“We are also proud to see our people in Sulaymaniyah holding massive demonstrations to express their continued support for us,” he added.
