SDF Commander Highlights U.S. Support in Kurdistan Region Meeting

Mazloum Abdi, commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), reported a productive meeting in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq with U.S. Ambassador Tom Barrack and Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander of U.S. Central Command.

Abdi emphasized the importance of U.S. support and the policy of President Trump in sustaining the ceasefire in Syria. He also praised Ambassador Barrack’s efforts to facilitate dialogue and negotiations between the SDF and the Syrian government, describing them as “serious, essential and highly valued.”

He affirmed the SDF’s commitment to working diligently to achieve genuine integration and maintain the current ceasefire.
