As part of the 24th Congress of the Member States of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, the Netherlands, the Kurdish Organizations Network for the International Criminal Court (KONCICC), in cooperation with organisations dedicated to combating genocide and weapons proliferation, organised a special seminar.

The event drew a significant number of international guests, including ambassadors, heads of international organisations, journalists, and genocide prevention activists. It was widely regarded as one of the most successful seminars of the congress, distinguished by its thorough preparation, impactful film screenings, and an accompanying book exhibition.

The first panel featured three survivors of genocide who shared their deeply moving testimonies.

They recounted their personal experiences of suffering and survival. The session also included an intervention on the Anfal campaign, Kurdish mass graves in Iraq, the role of Kurdish forces in defeating ISIS, and the establishment of a monument honouring Peshmerga martyrs at the Anfal Monument in Chamchamal.
