Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid received Mohsen al-Mandalawi, head of the Iraqi Asas Coalition, at the Presidential Palace in Baghdad.
At the start of the meeting, al-Mandalawi offered his condolences to President Rashid on the passing of his brother, Shamal Jamal Rashid.
The two sides reviewed the latest political developments in the country and stressed the importance of maintaining national dialogue to accelerate the fulfillment of constitutional entitlements. They also emphasised the need to form a government that reflects the aspirations of citizens and safeguards political stability.
