The Martyrs’ Day of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) is a shining historical milestone in our people’s memory — a day that embodies pride and dignity and recalls the eternal legacy of our righteous martyrs, who generously gave their lives defending the soil of Kurdistan and upholding the values of freedom and justice. On this glorious occasion, Forces 70 Command extends a message of loyalty and honor to the esteemed families of the martyrs of the PUK, the party whose history is written with the blood of countless martyrs.
We extend the highest expressions of respect and esteem to the tombs of our nation’s martyrs of freedom and pride.
On this day, we bow in reverence before the sanctity of the blood of those who walked the path of dignity and freedom in defense of our homeland and our people.
On this glorious historic day, we recall the bright pages of pride and greatness. The eternal path of our martyrs — filled with dignity and bravery — remains a shining light that dispels darkness and guides our steps. Their sacrifices illuminated our people’s way through the harshest turns of history, paving the way for our present and casting light upon our future.
PUK Martyrs’ Day is a symbolic day of resistance and a supreme embodiment of Kurdish dignity. We, who uphold this path, continue to walk upon it with firm faith, preserving its sanctity.
Forces 70 Command affirms its deep reverence and profound pride in the heroic path drawn by our martyrs with their pure blood. The command renews its pledge of loyalty and commitment to the families of the martyrs, continuing to safeguard the path paved by their sacrifices — a luminous guide for the nation's journey toward the safety, freedom, and dignity for which those righteous martyrs struggled.
Today, we stand in humility and reverence before the blessed memory of our righteous martyrs. We salute their pure souls and renew our pledge of appreciation to their honorable families. We are proud to walk the path carved by these heroes — a path that protected the land and the dignity of the homeland. The blood of the PUK martyrs will forever remain a sacred source that protects freedom and preserves the meaning of belonging.
The path of the Party of Martyrs, which offered thousands of martyrs, is an honor for all of us. It is our duty to protect it, preserve it, and continue along this sacred road.
We once again salute the souls of the PUK martyrs and all martyrs of freedom, and we send the highest expressions of pride to their noble families.
