Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, on the occasion of the conclusion of the campaign for the Iraqi parliamentary elections, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who worked with dedication and unity to ensure the success of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) List 222. 

He called on citizens and PUK supporters to turn their hopes into action on 11 November by filling the ballot boxes with green votes and strengthening the PUK’s power and voice in Baghdad.

The following is Darbaz Kosrat’s full statement:

On the occasion of the conclusion of the campaign for the Iraqi parliamentary elections, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has worked with dedication and selflessness to secure victory for the PUK list 222.

Now is the time for Kurdish citizens and PUK supporters to cast their votes for their true representatives and fill the ballot boxes with the green votes of hope, so that we can be your power in Baghdad.

I would also like to thank the citizens of the Kurdistan Region for ensuring that the election campaign did not endanger our brotherhood and coexistence. For, in the end, we all strive for the same goal, the rights of our people, and a future built on peace and unity.

Dear people of Kurdistan, dear citizens of Erbil, we are at a sensitive and crucial moment. On 11 November, remember to vote for the force that truly represents your voice and your influence in Baghdad.

Prove to all that PUK List 222 is your power in Baghdad.
