Halabja Governor Announces Record Success of the 11th Pomegranate and Autumn Festival

Halabja Governor Nuxsha Nasih, announced the successful conclusion of the 11th Halabja Pomegranate and Autumn Festival, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the event a great success.
Governor Nasih stated: “With the end of three days filled with beauty, colour, and hospitality, we are delighted to announce that the 11th Halabja Pomegranate and Autumn Festival concluded with remarkable and unprecedented success. This achievement is a victory for all of us and a source of pride for Halabja and for all of Kurdistan.”
She extended her appreciation to all organisers, participants, and visitors who helped make the festival successful, adding: “We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the festival. We apologise for any shortcomings and will strive to improve management and organisation in future editions.”
According to the festival organisers, sales exceeded 1.7 billion Iraqi dinars over the three-day event.
They also reported that 81,000 small vehicles and 720 minibuses entered Halabja during the festival, with approximately 419,700 visitors attending in total.
