Qubad Talabani, Supervisor of the Secretariat of President Mam Jalal.
Qubad Talabani, Supervisor of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) List 222 electoral campaign in the Erbil constituency, met with comrades from the electoral sectors in the Soran district. He urged them to encourage as many of those boycotting the elections as possible to participate in the upcoming vote.
During the meeting, Talabani noted that many citizens who are hesitant to vote acknowledge that the only party capable of addressing the issues in Baghdad is the PUK.
He emphasised the importance of reaching out to those who have lost faith in the political process, explaining that although they have tried different paths over the years, their remaining hope still lies with the PUK.
Talabani called on PUK comrades to rekindle that hope among the people, just as the PUK once inspired the Kurdish nation at the time of its founding. He assured them that the party would continue to act responsibly and never give its supporters cause for regret.
