Qubad Talabani, Supervisor of the electoral campaign of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) List 222 in the Erbil constituency highlighted that the Bradost tribe, like all other Kurdish tribes, has played a distinguished role in defending Kurdistan and preserving Kurdish identity. He noted that the descendants of Khani Lap Zerin and the heroes of Dimdim Castle stand as enduring symbols of Kurdish bravery and resilience.
Speaking at a public gathering in Sidakan sub-district, Erbil Governorate, Qubad Talabani said: “I was delighted today to meet our people from the Bradost tribe, in the presence of my dear brother Faisal Karim Khan Bradosti.”
He recalled the historic bond between President Mam Jalal and Karim Khan Bradosti, a relationship forged at the outset of the Kurdish people’s modern revolution and one that endures to this day.
Qubad Talabani affirmed that the PUK of 2025 is vastly different from what it was a decade ago. He stressed that today’s PUK is stronger and will not allow any injustice to be committed against its members or supporters. “The stronger the PUK becomes through the will of the voters, the more capable it will be of confronting injustice and oppression,” he said, urging everyone to work diligently to secure the highest number of votes for the PUK and List 222, as “a strong PUK means a strong and stable Kurdistan.”
