Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Member of the Political Bureau and Head of the Relations Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Glenn Miles, the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, in Erbil today.

The two sides discussed recent regional developments and relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi federal government, emphasising the importance of constructive dialogue and resolving issues through mutual understanding.

The meeting also covered the formation of the new cabinet, the unity of political forces and parties, preparations for the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections, and the protection of the Kurds’ constitutional rights in Baghdad.
