Qubad Talabani, Supervisor of the List 222 of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Erbil Constituency, met with members of the party’s 8th Newroz and 17th Shadi electoral constituencies in Erbil. He reaffirmed that the PUK remains the party of decision and the decisive force in Baghdad — a party that has never been regarded as a source of problems.

Talabani stated: “The PUK can be the trusted representative of the Kurdish people, possessing the necessary capacity and strength to address their issues in Baghdad. At the same time, it can be a reliable partner for Iraqi and international partners in finding solutions to the challenges. The PUK is the party of decision and the decisive force across Iraq.”

Talabani added that both Iraqi and international sides view a strong PUK presence in Baghdad as an opportunity, emphasising that “the PUK is the only force in Iraq that has never been seen as a source of problems. On the contrary, it has always been the force that untangles complex issues and offers practical and realistic solutions during critical times.”
