German Military Officials Honour President Mam Jalal

German Military Officials visited the mausoleum of President Mam Jalal.

Colonel Sebastian Klink, Commander of the German Armed Forces in the Kurdistan Region, and Lieutenant Thomas Volker, Cultural Adviser to the German Armed Forces, visited the mausoleum of President Mam Jalal today. They were warmly received by Ambassador Dr Mohammed Sabir, President of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, Yousif Zozani, and members of the Secretariat Bureau of President Mam Jalal.

During the visit, a wreath was laid in honour of the late President Mam Jalal. Colonel Klink spoke of the enduring and strong relationship between President Mam Jalal and the German state, highlighting his legacy as a prominent national leader who devoted his life to promoting peace and coexistence among the Iraqi people.

The visit underscores the continued respect and recognition from international partners for the late President’s contributions to peace, governance, and the development of the Kurdistan Region.
