Jalal Talabani International Airport Launches Turkish Airlines Flights to Istanbul

Jalal Talabani International Airport has announced the commencement of flights to Istanbul operated by Turkish Airlines, alongside the activation of its flight ticket sales system.

A private source at the airport told PUKMEDIA that “the ticketing system for Turkish Airlines is fully operational and has now been activated.”

The source added that “the first flight to Sulaymaniyah is scheduled to depart on 3 November 2025, and any flight restrictions will be lifted during this period.”

This development is expected to enhance connectivity between the Kurdistan Region and Türkiye, providing travellers with more convenient access to international destinations.
