PUK VP Calls for Strengthening PUK List 222 to Defend Kurdish Rights in Baghdad

Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with representatives from the Sarchnar, Zargata and Kurdsat electoral districts today.

Speaking at the meetings, Rifaat Abdullah emphasised the importance of ensuring the PUK’s List 222 achieves greater success, saying: “The success of the PUK’s List 222 ensures the protection of our people’s rights, and everyone must work to strengthen the list during this democratic stage, making it a powerful force defending our nation in Baghdad.”

The Vice President also highlighted the pivotal role of President Bafel Talabani in fostering closer relations between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
