Qubad Talabani, member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), stated that the PUK firmly believes the development of the Kurdistan Region depends on achieving financial stability alongside political and security stability.
Talabani met with officials of the 13th Bahraka and the 7th Kuran constituencies of the PUK.
“For the sake of financial stability and market recovery, we have focused all our efforts on reaching a comprehensive and lasting agreement with Baghdad,” Talabani said in a post on his Facebook page after the meeting.
He highlighted the continuous and determined efforts of PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani in Baghdad, describing him as “the engineer of agreements.”
He called on PUK members to engage with the people of Erbil and convey a clear message: “voting for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan means voting for agreement and lasting financial stability in the Kurdistan Region.”
