PUK President Reaffirms Commitment to President Mam Jalal’s Legacy

On the anniversary of President Mam Jalal’s passing, Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), reaffirmed the party’s commitment to his father’s legacy, emphasising the need to continue his path of service, national struggle, and protection of the rights and dignity of the Kurdish people.

In a message marking the occasion, Bafel Jalal Talabani stated:

"On the anniversary of his passing, we continue to draw wisdom from President Mam Jalal – a father, leader, and progressive mentor of the Kurdish revolution and struggle – who inspires us to serve our people tirelessly.

Today, more than ever, we must return to Mam’s wisdom and sound policies. His guidance strengthens our commitment to work together, safeguard our rights, and provide a more dignified life for our beloved people.

Walking on the right path of struggle and service, Mam’s PUK will remain steadfast in fulfilling its national and decisive responsibilities. Serving our people and defending their rights are a trust bestowed upon us, and an advice from President Mam Jalal, which we are determined to uphold responsibly.
