KRG Council of Ministers Meets to Discuss Finance, Safety, and State Property

The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Council of Ministers is set to convene today, Wednesday, to address several pressing issues.

According to a statement from the KRG Department of Media and Information, the Council will review the Region’s current financial situation following the implementation of the tripartite agreement on oil exports. It will also examine the classification of non-oil revenues and determine the share due to the federal treasury.

The session will further consider suspending Cabinet Resolution No. 2132 of 2025, which conflicts with the new law governing the sale and lease of state property. In addition, the Council will review a draft safety guide issued by the Ministry of Interior, aimed at ensuring the security and protection of citizens across the Kurdistan Region.
