Iraqi President Meets Outgoing Lebanese Ambassador

Iraqi President and outgoing Lebanese Ambassador.

The President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, received the Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq, Mr Ali Adeeb Al-Habhab, today, Tuesday 30 September 2025, at Baghdad Palace, on the occasion of the conclusion of his term.

During the meeting, President Rashid reaffirmed Iraq’s commitment to strengthening fraternal relations with Lebanon and wished the Ambassador every success in his future endeavours.

In turn, Mr al-Habhab commended the President’s efforts in fostering close ties between the two nations and expressed his gratitude for the continual support he received throughout his tenure.
