Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid arrived in New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). 

The President is heading a senior Iraqi delegation to the 80th session of the UNGA, which includes Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government Qubad Talabani, Iraqi Minister of Health Dr. Salih Al-Hasnawi, Iraqi Minister of Migration and the Displaced Evan Faeq Jabro, Iraq's National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji, and other senior officials.

Iraq’s participation in UNGA 80 underscores the nation’s commitment to strengthening global partnerships and advancing dialogue on key regional and international issues. During the summit, the President and his delegation will meet with world leaders to promote Iraq’s vision for peace, stability, and cooperation across the Middle East and beyond.
