Global oil prices rose on Monday following reports of Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian energy facilities, fuelling fears of potential supply disruptions.

Brent crude, the international benchmark, traded at around $67.35 per barrel, while US benchmark WTI stood at about $63.05 per barrel.

Analysts say the gains reflect heightened geopolitical risks, particularly in Eastern Europe, which have added upward pressure to energy markets already sensitive to supply and demand shifts.
