PUK President Meets PUK's Veteran Strugglers

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met the party's veteran strugglers, including Comrade Mahmoud Sangawi, Veteran Peshmerga Hamid Haji Ghali, and Hakim Qadir Hamajan.

PUK President Receives Hakim Qadir Hamajan

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Comrade Hakim Qadir Hamajan in Dabashan.

During the meeting, President Talabani praised Comrade Hamajan as an integral part of the proud history of the PUK, noting that his services to Kurdistan are deserving of respect and appreciation.

The President further emphasised that today the PUK will continue to draw upon the experience and contributions of all comrades who took part in the struggle of the new revolution and made sacrifices for the people.

For his part, Comrade Hamajan reaffirmed his commitment to continue his struggle on the path of President Mam Jalal, pledging to undertake every effort and step in service of the public interest and the PUK, as he has always done.

PUK President Visits Mahmoud Sangawi

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), visited Comrade Mahmoud Sangawi.

The visit was also attended by Comrade Adnan Hama Mina and Mr. Polo Shalaw Ali Askari, Head of Intelligence of the 70s Forces of the Peshmerga.

President Talabani expressed his deep condolences to Comrade Sangawi on the passing of his brother, Karim Haji Hama Amin Sangawi. He commended the family’s enduring contribution and sacrifices to the Kurdish struggle, and prayed that this sorrow would be their last, asking God to grant them patience, peace, and mercy.

PUK President Visits Veteran Peshmerga Comrade Hamid Haji Ghali

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), visited Comrade Hamid Haji Ghali in Sulaymaniyah.

During the meeting, which was attended by Polo Shalaw Ali Askari, Head of Intelligence of the 70s Forces of the Peshmerga, President Bafel expressed his appreciation for the role and proud history of Comrade Haji Ghali as one of the first Peshmergas of the new revolution and a prominent leader within the PUK.

“We follow in the footsteps of our veteran leaders and fighters and remain loyal to the great sacrifices they have made for our people,” he said.

Comrade Haji Ghali, in turn, thanked President Talabani and reaffirmed the continuation of the policy of President Mam Jalal under President Bafel’s leadership.
