PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeeting with

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Abdulhaddi Ibrahim, former Libyan Foreign Minister and leader of the Future Movement Party, in Sulaymaniyah.

The meeting was attended by Qubad Talabani, member of the PUK Political Bureau, and Dr Khasraw Gull Muhammed, PUK President’s Representative to the Political Bureau, Leadership Council, and Protection Council of Higher Interests of the PUK. Discussions focused on strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Libya, with President Talabani expressing his pleasure at the delegation's visit to Sulaymaniyah.

Dr Ibrahim extended an invitation to President Talabani to visit Libya and expressed his hope for the development of bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and Libya.
