Global oil prices fell on Monday, as markets reacted to upcoming peace talks between the U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, alongside concerns over U.S. tariffs and rising OPEC output.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude slipped to around $63.50 per barrel, its lowest level in more than two months, while Brent crude traded at about $66.30 per barrel. Analysts say geopolitical uncertainty, coupled with increased oil production, has weighed on prices in recent weeks.

Traders are watching closely for any developments from the Trump–Putin summit, which could influence global energy flows and sanctions policy.
