PUK Media Board Commemorates Yezidi Genocide

The Media Board of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) marked the 11th anniversary of the Yezidi genocide in Shingal (Sinjar) with a commemorative event under the theme "Genocide of Shingal: An Unforgettable Wound."

The event featured a lecture delivered by Latif Nerwayi, Halo Penjweni, and Hakim Qasim. It was held at  the Kurdistani Nwe Hall, coinciding with the day ISIS terrorists launched their brutal assault on Shingal in 2014.

The speakers reflected on the gravity of the atrocities committed, the enduring trauma suffered by the Yezidi community, and the need for continued remembrance, justice, and national solidarity.
