Terrifying video shows ride snapping in half with riders onboard.

At least 23 people were injured, some seriously, after a mechanical ride snapped in half mid-operation at Green Mountain Park in Taif, Saudi Arabia.

The incident occurred on the “360 Degrees” swing ride, which dramatically broke apart while in motion, sending riders crashing to the ground. Shocking footage shared online shows the ride’s central arm fracturing and recoiling violently with passengers still onboard.

Emergency services declared a Code Yellow and transported victims to local hospitals. Al Bawaba reported that one woman may have suffered a partial leg amputation.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause, amid public outcry over safety standards. The amusement park has yet to release an official statement.
