PUK’s Darbaz Kosrat Meets Turkish CG.

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Member of the Political Bureau and Head of the Relations Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), welcomed Arman Topcu, the Consul General of Türkiye in the Kurdistan Region.

During their meeting, the two sides discussed the recent agreement between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad. Darbaz Kosrat Rasul emphasised the importance of upholding the agreement and stated: “We believe it is essential to adhere to the terms and to separate the issue of salaries from political disputes.”

They also addressed the latest political and security developments in the wider region, with the PUK reaffirming its support for the peace process in North Kurdistan and Türkiye.

Both parties underscored the importance of continued coordination and cooperation among all sides to preserve political and security stability and to prevent further tensions in the region.
