Bafel Jalal Talabani Offers Condolences to Wasit Governorate

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, has extended his condolences to the people of Wasit Governorate following the devastating fire at a Hypermarket, which claimed the lives of dozens of residents.

The following is PUK President's message:

"It was with deep sorrow that we received the news of the tragic fire in Wasit Governorate, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of many innocent citizens.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to our brothers and sisters in Wasit, and we stand with them in this time of great grief.

We pray for mercy for the victims, a swift recovery for the injured, and strength and comfort for their families and loved ones. We also reaffirm our full solidarity with the people of Wasit, as well as with the local authorities and health and administrative institutions responding to this terrible incident."
