Crude oil prices saw a modest rise today as markets responded cautiously to ongoing global economic signals and supply trends.

Brent crude, the international benchmark, was trading at approximately US $70.44 per barrel, up US $0.08 or 0.11%. Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), the US benchmark, stood at around US $68.52 per barrel, gaining US $0.07, a rise of 0.10%.

Traders attributed the slight uptick to a mix of supply expectations and cautious sentiment surrounding potential demand slowdowns in key markets. While geopolitical tensions and production adjustments remain in focus, analysts noted that trading volumes were subdued as markets awaited further economic data.

Despite the minor increase, prices remain relatively stable compared to last month’s fluctuations, with investors watching closely for signals from major producers and economic indicators that could shape future demand.
