Oil prices recorded modest increases on Wednesday, as markets remained cautious in the lead-up to a pivotal OPEC+ meeting that may influence the global supply landscape.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude edged up by $0.09 to $60.98 per barrel (+0.15%), while Brent crude rose by $0.07 to $64.10 per barrel (+0.11%).

The slight rise follows speculation that OPEC+ could revise its production targets in response to evolving global demand and geopolitical developments. Market participants are also keeping a close watch on negotiations between the United States and Iran, which might lead to the return of Iranian crude to international markets.

Although the gains are modest, they reflect a degree of cautious optimism among investors, as the energy sector continues to assess the delicate balance between rising supply and a recovering demand outlook.
