Global oil prices recorded modest gains on Thursday, reflecting a cautious outlook among energy market participants.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose by $0.16 to trade at $61.73 per barrel, while Brent crude edged up by $0.11, reaching $65.01 per barrel. These movements represent increases of 0.26% and 0.17% respectively.

The slight rise in prices follows an unexpected increase in U.S. crude stockpiles earlier in the week, which has dampened some of the market’s optimism. Meanwhile, ongoing geopolitical tensions continue to fuel concerns over global supply stability.

Analysts note that while oil prices remain relatively steady, any significant shifts are likely to depend on forthcoming inventory data, policy moves from OPEC+, and broader economic indicators.
