Kurdistan VP Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa's meeting with Turkish CG Erman Topçu.

Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region, received Erman Topçu, Consul General of Türkiye in the Kurdistan Region, where they discussed bilateral cooperation and regional developments.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening and sustaining relations between Türkiye and the Kurdistan Region, grounded in mutual interests—particularly in the areas of trade and investment.

They also agreed on the need to preserve security and stability across the region, as well as overcoming the challenges facing the political process in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

Furthermore, the latest political and security developments were reviewed, alongside discussions on the progress of the peace process in Türkiye.
