Delphi Forum-Slemani.
Under the supervision of Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, the Delphi Economic Forum—an influential platform for shaping economic policy—continues for a second day in Sulaymaniyah.
The President of the Republic of Iraq gave a speech at the forum, stating: "This forum represents a major turning point, and we must make efforts to diversify our sources of income."
"The Arab summit in Baghdad was very successful, and we are now working towards building a prosperous and stable Iraq," he said.
For his part, Sulaymaniyah Governor Dr Haval Abubakr stated in his speech: "Sulaymaniyah has the highest levels of surface and groundwater in Iraq, leads in domestic investment, and holds 50% of the country's printed cash."
"Sulaymaniyah serves as a bridge between Southeast Asia and Europe," he said.
The Delphi Economic Forum is a strategic platform for dialogue, coordination, and regional development. It addresses key areas such as security, sustainable energy, economic diversification, and recent developments, with a focus on emerging opportunities and investment prospects. As a new global forum for dialogue in the Middle East, it is being held for the first time in Sulaymaniyah.
