Global oil prices dipped modestly today, pulling back after a sharp rise earlier in the week.

Brent Crude declined by 0.6% to $66.24 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) slipped to $63.31 per barrel, also down 0.6%. The fall comes after a 2.5% surge on Tuesday, driven by a temporary pause in US-China trade tensions and stronger-than-expected inflation figures from the United States.

Despite today’s dip, oil prices remain close to two-week highs, supported by improving economic sentiment and ongoing geopolitical developments. Market observers are now turning their attention to forthcoming US crude inventory data, which may influence price movements further.
