Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al Sadegh, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad.

President Rashid highlighted the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between Iraq and Iran, reiterating Iraq’s commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at addressing both regional and global challenges. He emphasised the country’s dedication to promoting stability, enhancing bilateral cooperation, and advancing the security and prosperity of the broader region.

Ambassador Al Sadegh reaffirmed Iran’s strong commitment to deepening ties with Iraq and broadening avenues for cooperation. He reiterated Tehran’s support for continued coordination and dialogue on issues of mutual concern, reflecting a shared commitment to peace and development across the region.
