Kirkuk Governor: Kirkuk Belongs to All Parties & Communities

The governor of Kirkuk reiterated that the province belongs to all groups and parties, and that any party or group returning to Kirkuk is welcome.

"Kirkuk belongs to all parties and communities, and its administration represents everyone," Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha said in a press release on Monday, 7 April 2025, while inspecting a number of service projects in the city. 

"The doors of Kirkuk's administration and its Provincial Council are open to any community that wishes to assist in serving the people of Kirkuk," he said.

"We welcome any party or political group that returns to Kirkuk and opens its headquarters, and as the local government, we have provided the necessary facilities in this regard," he stated.
