20 March: Deputy PM Extends Newroz Wishes, Calls for Kurdish Unity

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region has extended his congratulations to everyone on the occasion of Newroz, stating: “Newroz is a day of renewal, resistance, and unity.”

Deputy PM Talabani issued a statement to mark the arrival of Newroz, “Happy Kurdish New Year… I celebrate a history filled with pride and glory.”

“Newroz is not just a holiday for us Kurds; it is a day of renewal, resistance, and unity,” Qubad Talabani remarked.

“I hope to see Kurds, both here and around the world, united in one voice and one hand,” he added.
