According to the latest statistics published on "We Are Social" and "Meltwater," over 34 million Iraqis or 73.8% use social networking platforms, with TikTok topping the list, and then followed by Facebook.

Mohandad Habib al-Samawi, General Supervisor of Iraq's Digital Media Center (DMC), said: "The available data show shifts in the use of several social media platforms in Iraq, with some growing rapidly and others declining, reflecting changes in the digital landscape and platform users' behaviour inside its spaces."
