Darbaz Kosrat, Yann Braem Discuss Regional Stability & Government Formation

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan’s (PUK) Relations Bureau, welcomed Dr Yann Braem, the French Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.
The meeting addressed the regional situation and the agreement between Syrian Interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa and Mazloum Abdi, Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces. Both sides expressed hope that this agreement would mark a new beginning for establishing political stability and safeguarding the rights of Syrian communities.
The formation of the new cabinet was another key topic of discussion. Darbaz Kosrat Rasul highlighted that the governance approach, its programme, and the mechanisms of political partnership are the focus of meetings between the PUK and Kurdistan Democratic Party delegations to establish the 10th cabinet. He also emphasised the importance of a strong government framework for the Kurdistan Region.
