Fifth Preparatory Conference Takes Place in Garmian

The fifth preparatory conference for the second PUK forum is set to commence today, Thursday, in the Garmian administration.

Fahmi Burhan, Head of the Secretariat for the 2nd PUK Forum, informed PUKMEDIA that the previous conferences were held in the following cities: the first in Mosul, the second in Duhok, the third in Koya, and the fourth in Erbil. The fifth conference is set to take place in the Garmian region, with each conference lasting three days.

He further explained that the committees will discuss the organisational structure, future policy of the PUK, and its relationships within the Region, as well as the role of women and youth within the party, alongside many other important matters.

The forum aims to develop and debate a new vision for the PUK's preparations for the next phase of political work and governance in the Kurdistan Region. It also seeks to enhance the PUK's position and influence both within the Region and internationally, by formulating strategies to adapt to the ongoing changes and developments.
