PUK President, Iraqi President Discuss National Stability and Regional Peace

PUK President receives Iraqi President at Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah.
Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Iraqi President Dr. Abdullatif Jamal Rashid at Dabashan, in Sulaymaniyah.
During the meeting, the overall situation in the country was reviewed, with a focus on the importance of maintaining constructive dialogue between all parties to address the challenges and enhance the quality of services provided to citizens.
Both sides also addressed the issues between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, stressing the importance of resolving these matters based on the Constitution and mutual understanding. In this context, President Bafel expressed his sincere appreciation for President Rashid's role and efforts in bringing different parties closer together and achieving a national solution for the country's stability.
He added that the PUK is working tirelessly to improve the lives of the people in the Kurdistan Region and keep them away from political disputes, a step they have fortunately succeeded in.
The meeting also covered the regional crisis and the developments in the Middle East, during which President Rashid stated that Iraq supports any efforts and initiatives aimed at finding a peaceful solution to preserve peace and keep the region free from war and conflict.
