Kurdistan VP Jaafar SHeikh Mustafa's meeting with British Ambassador to Iraq Stephen Hitchen.

On Saturday, 22 February 2025, Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of the Kurdistan Region, received Stephen Hitchen, British Ambassador to Iraq, to mark the completion of his mission.

The Kurdistan Region's VP thanked Ambassador Hitchen for his past role and work and wished him success in his future assignment.
 
In addition to expressing gratitude for the support and coordination of the Kurdistan Region's key authorities, the British Ambassador emphasised the importance of establishing and maintaining relations between his country, the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

The overall situation, political and security developments in the region, the reform process and unification of the Peshmerga forces, and the formation of the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government were other topics of discussion.
