PUK's 2nd Forum: Preparations for the Next Stage in Duhok

PUK Forum 2025.

The High Committee of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has decided to hold the next stage of the PUK Forum in Duhok Province, with the event scheduled to begin tomorrow, Thursday, 20th February 2025.

During a meeting of the High Committee, chaired by Dr. Yousif Goran, a member of the Political Bureau, it was agreed that the next session of the Forum would take place in Duhok on Thursday, 20th February 2025.

The first preparatory session for the 2nd PUK Forum commenced in Mosul, Nineveh province, on Saturday, 15th February 2025. The head of the secretariat for the 2nd PUK Forum stated that 700 people participated in the session, with the attendees divided into 7 committees.

As outlined in the internal regulations adopted at the PUK’s fifth Congress, the PUK Forum is an official, periodic event and serves as a significant platform for the party’s cadres.

The first PUK Forum was launched on 12th March 2022 under the supervision of Qubad Talabani and concluded on 31st May 2022. It played a key role in shaping the party’s policies across various sectors and became a cornerstone of the PUK’s broader strategy.
