KRG Delegation & UAE President Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

KRG delegation meets UAE President.

A delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), headed by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, met with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, on Wednesday, 12th February, 2025 to discuss strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation across various sectors and committing to furthering these ties in the future. 

Deputy PM Talabani provided an update to President al-Nahyan on the current situation in the Kurdistan Region. Both sides highlighted the importance of fostering dialogue and working towards peace in the wider region, with a focus on benefiting the people of the Middle East and promoting long-term peace and stability.
