Qubad Talabani Explores Emirati Expertise for Kurdistan Region

Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, held discussions in Dubai on Tuesday, regarding the transfer of successful Emirati practices in the fields of oil and transportation to the Kurdistan Region. 

According to a statement from the Deputy Prime Minister's office, during the World Government Summit, Deputy PM Talabani met with Mr. Saeed Mohammed al-Tayer, Chairman of the Emirates National Oil Company, and his delegation. They talked about the successful Emirati experience in the oil and gas sector and explored opportunities for adapting this expertise to the Kurdistan Region.

The statement further noted that, during the same summit, Qubad Talabani also held discussions with Mr. Mattar al-Tayer, Chairman of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, regarding road projects and ways to benefit from Emirati expertise and specialists in public transportation, including bus and tram systems.
