2nd PUK Forum to Take Place in Nineveh

The PUK Forum's Senior Committee's meeting.

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) will convene its 2nd Forum on 15 February 2025. The Forum is set to begin in Nineveh and then go on to other regions of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

On behalf of the forum's supervisor, Qubad Talabani, Dr. Yousif Goran presided over a meeting of the PUK Forum's senior committee on Saturday, 8 February 2025, at the PUK General Study Centre headquarters.

The meeting touched on the topics to be discussed at the 2nd Forum and how the forum will begin, and it was decided to begin the forum's convoy in Nineveh province (Mosul) and then reach the Kurdistan Region and other areas of the PUK's struggle in Iraq.

According to the bylaws passed by the PUK's 5th Congress, the PUK Forum is an official periodic activity that is part of the PUK's larger struggle.

It is worth noting that the PUK's 1st Forum began on 12 March 2022 and ended on 31 May 2022, under the supervision of Qubad Talabani. During the 1st Forum, the PUK's policies in many areas were developed, which eventually constituted the foundation for the PUK's overall policy.
