The Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displaced reported the repatriation of 222 Iraqis from Syria.

The Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displaced said that Iraqis were on the Syrian-Turkish border. They were allegedly situated in Grespi, Idlib, and A'zaz before returning to their residences in Kirkuk, Nineveh, Salah ad Din, and Anbar.

According to the announcement, "222 Iraqi citizens who were located at the Syrian-Turkish border have repatriated to Iraq via the Ibrahim Khalil border-crossing in Zakho, with an additional convoy planned for return in the forthcoming days."

The repatriation of the Iraqis was executed in collaboration with the Iraqi Embassy in Turkey, the Iraqi Consulate in Gaziantep, and the Duhok office of the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation.
