The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) called for an urgent meeting of all parties in Damascus to establish a new Syria.
Regarding the 10-point initiative for establishing the forthcoming Syrian government, the AANES states: "Collaboration between the AANES and Damascus serves the interests of the Syrian people, necessitating an urgent meeting in Damascus with the involvement of all parties."
"The unity and sovereignty of Syria must be protected, and the nation must be defended against attacks from Turkey and its allies," it stated.
The AANES further said: "The initiative stated that all military operations in Syria must cease, Syrian communities must be safeguarded, a comprehensive national dialogue must start, Syria's resources and revenues must be shared fairly, and the return of internally displaced persons must be ensured."
The collapse of Bashar al-Assad's regime was formally declared on December 8, 2024, and both international and local efforts are in progress to establish a new government in Syria aimed at safeguarding people's interests and fostering stability for the Syrian people.
