Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, Leader of the National Wisdom Movement, arrived in Kirkuk Governorate today, Wednesday, where he was warmly welcomed by Mohammed Ibrahim Hafez, Chairman of the Kirkuk Provincial Council, Rebwar Taha, the Governor of Kirkuk, members of the Provincial Council, and other officials.

During a press conference, al-Hakim expressed his happiness at visiting Kirkuk, describing it as a city of coexistence and brotherhood among all its diverse communities.

He went on to say, "We had a productive meeting with the Governor of Kirkuk and the Provincial Council, and we were briefed on the level of services being provided to the citizens of the governorate. We hope the local government in Kirkuk will focus on providing services, and I wish them success in fulfilling their duties."

He continued, "Kirkuk is a microcosm of Iraq, belonging to all its people. We attach great importance to the coexistence that exists here, and we are pleased to see that the governorate is witnessing the implementation of services and projects that benefit the citizens."

Al-Hakim also remarked, "As we approach the new year, we will work on preparing new budget allocations, ensuring that financial resources are distributed equitably across all governorates. We have seen the stalled projects in Kirkuk and have discussed with the Governor how to reactivate them. We are pleased to see that there is a local administration that listens to the citizens and is committed to addressing their concerns."

He concluded, "Today, we observed the strong dedication of the Governor and the Provincial Council to listen to the citizens and address their issues. We stand with the citizens and support their demands. We will also engage with the other political parties that are not currently part of the local government in Kirkuk and encourage them to participate in the administration."
