Sulaymaniyah Hosts 27th Galawezh Festival

The 27th Galawezh International Festival.
The 27th Galawezh International Festival will take place under the theme "For the Glory of the Word, Galawezh Continues." The event will feature several international guests and a variety of activities, with prizes awarded to the winners.
Dr. Ibtissam Ismail Qadir, President of the Galawezh Center, told PUKMEDIA: "The Galawezh Festival will take place on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of December. Preparations for the event are currently in progress."
She further said: "This year, we have a variety of artistic activities, literary competitions, and exhibitions planned. We will also host a book fair with participants from across the Region and beyond, along with a handicraft fair showcasing women's work. Additionally, 12 researchers from Kurdish, Persian, and Arab backgrounds will be present."
Dr. Qadir also said that the festival will have an international scope, with many guests attending from various countries across Europe and the Middle East. It is also being supported by the financial institutions of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
