President Rashid Receives Invitation to Attend 'One Water' Summit in Riyadh

The President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, has received an official invitation to attend the 'One Water' Summit, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The invitation was delivered today, Thursday 28th November 2024, during His Excellency’s meeting at the Baghdad Palace with the French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Durel. The invitation was signed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, French President Emmanuel Macron, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga.
President Rashid expressed his sincere appreciation for the invitation, which will be hosted in Riyadh on 3rd December, alongside the sixteenth Session of the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification.
The summit will bring together global leaders, governments, local communities, financial institutions, businesses, charitable organisations, NGOs, and experts to exchange experiences and explore innovative, sustainable solutions.
